
About Dr. Robert Custrini
Dr. Custrini is a licensed psychologist who has operated a private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1994. He provides evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults and families, and also provides evaluation and consultation services to those involved with the adult criminal and juvenile courts.
Dr. Custrini received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1984. He completed his pre-doctoral internship through Harvard Medical School at the Judge Baker Children's Center and Children's Hospital in Boston, and received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1989. He is a registrant of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association, the American Psychology-Law Society, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children.
Dr. Custrini has served in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings since he began working in the field in 1982. Speciality areas include adolescent issues, sexual abuse, anxiety and depression, trauma-related difficulties and impulse control problems.
