Privacy Policy

Dr. Custrini is committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of those who visit this website.  This policy has been developed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use information about visitors to the site.  Please note that this policy may be updated from time to time.  The information that follows is effective as of 9/12/20.

Information We Collect

Like most commercial websites, RobertCustrini.com uses web server logs to collect information about how the site is being used.  This includes information such as the date and time of visits, which pages are viewed and time spent.  This information will not identify you personally.  It is statistical data.  Its purpose is to assist in optimizing the site and making it more useful to those who visit it.

If you choose to contact Dr. Custrini
via the Contact page, the information that you provide will be transmitted via an email connection.  Unfortunately, the sending of information via the Internet is not totally secure.  On occasion, such communications can and may be intercepted.  As such, we cannot guarantee the security of any communications you may choose to send via the Contact page.  With this in mind, if you have information of a sensitive nature that you wish to communicate, it is recommended that you make contact via telephone/confidential voice mail.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a very small text document that often includes an anonymous, unique identifier.  When you visit a website, that site's computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies.  Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser preferences allow it, but your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has sent to you directly.  It will not allow access to cookies sent to you by other sites.  You can adjust the settings on your computer to refuse all cookies if you wish.  This can easily be done by changing the security settings on your computer's browser(s).  RobertCustrini.com does not utilize cookies.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet.  Your IP address is a number that is used by other computers on the network to identify your computer.  IP addresses are automatically collected by our web server as part of demographic and profile information known as "traffic data" so that content (such as the web pages you wish to visit) can be sent to you.  However, your IP address will not be saved by RobertCustrini.com.

How We Use the Information You Provide to Us

None of the personal information that you provide (via the Contact page) will ever be shared with or sold to anyone else without your expressed consent.  Its only purpose is to allow Dr. Custrini to respond to your inquiry or request.  As was noted earlier, the anonymous demographic information that is collected is used only to ensure that the website is put together in a way that makes it maximally useful and accessible to visitors.

Third Party Links

On occasion, we may include links to third parties on this website.  If and when this occurs, it does not mean that Dr. Custrini has endorsed or approved the privacy policy of the sites operated by these
parties.  Therefore, you should always be careful to review the privacy policies of these (or any) sites before sending them personal data.
